Welcome to the forum Alvin,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Sorry to hear about the water ingress issue.

(I've removed your other post from a 7 year old thread in S-Type forum. A new thread in X350 forum is the place for this question.)

Has water got into the ECM and caused damage or is your question about how to seal the front screen to prevent this happening again?

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Alvin,

I've merged the information you've posted in #1 and #7 and used it to start a new thread for you in X350 forum. Here's the direct link to it:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-crank-204353/

It does take a long time to dry modules thoroughly - I've known some members keep them in a stream of warm air for a few days. The worst thing to do is to attempt a start before you're sure the module is properly dried out.
