Default What's up from Rochester, New York !

Hello Jaguar enthusiasts! The name's Lam and I just purchased a 2004 Jaguar X-type a couple months back. I figured its time to dive into a community of fellow owners and aspiring future owners, hopefully running into someone from Rochester too!

Hello Lam and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Hey, welcome. I live in Rochester/Henrietta and just bought my first Jag as well. I have a 96 XJ6 and have been trying to find Other jag owners around the area.

Welcome, i bought a 96 xj6 3.0 around a year ago, live about 45 minutes from syracuse and went to RIT. Minor problems so far, nothing too serious, but overall a real fun car to drive. Seems like a few of us from upstate are members, have fun.

Nice car @Jaguar Jack! Yeah, I got my car and knew it had some minor problems because it had sat for awhile. I was told it needed a tune up, headlight, and the A/C charged.
Well, I've finally got to get in there and work on the car and I put new plugs in, platinum Bosch plugs, and changed some filters and stuff. Detailed the car, but a couple parts are starting to oxidize so I am having the car painted this fall.
Re packed the bearings and did the break lines on it because they were corroding and stuff.
Changed all the lights on the car, and now I am in the process of trying to figure out whats going on w/ the A/C. I charged it myself today and it's still blowing warm. I don't know? I gotta figure out whats the deal with that. I don't want to take it to Jaguar in Webster. I was out there this week and got really rude service. I don't feel right giving people like that my hard earned money. I need to find a local guy who likes to work on these cars for the stuff I cant do myself.
What have you had to do on your Jag man?
