Default Whatz up

Hi All

Getting out of my 2012 SRT8 into a 06' Jag XJR and looking at modifying it for some good street fun.

Looking for advice from guys that have done mods to theirs.

I want to put replace the air suspension with Koni's.

What can I do to get more power out of the supercharger? Are there pulley kits available?

If I fit a full exhaust system will the dash board light up like a Christmas tree? Can we sort it out?

I want to fit an old school Momo Steering wheel, will that cause any issues?

Anything else recommended?

Welcome to the forum Sulli,

That's quite a 'to do' list!

Follow this link XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the 'Other Areas' Region section by following this link Other Areas - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your part of the World.

Enjoy the forum.

Jaguar have a history of confusing model names. XJ6 must be the worst covering four different models produced between 1968 and 1994.

XJR was first used on the SC version of the straight six X300 produced from 1995 to 1997. It was then applied to the performance version of the V8 X308 from 1997 to 2003. Again it was used on the next model, the X350 produced between 2003 and 2009.

We didn't have any of the V8 XJR's marketed as XJR8 in the UK but Jaguar varied naming slightly in different markets around the World.

The only true factory XJR-8's were the Le Mans winners!
