Welcome to the forums Ron1,
I presume you either want to use 9J OR 10J all round? I expect either width will fit each corner but whether this contravenes UK Type Approval and/or Construction & Use Regulations is the important question. In the event of a serious accident, an insurance assessor or prosecuting barrister would take a great deal of interest in this change to manufacturer's specification.

Hi Graham,
The idea was to get rid of the space saver wheel like I did with my X350. As my car has two sets of different wheels I can't get two spare wheels in the boot as it isn't big enough to take both sizes. So I was wondering if I could get away with putting a set of J10's on the front, and what difference would that make to the handling, (if any) and then I could have a J10 as a spare.
I choose the J10 as they are wider than the 9 and so would have more grip on the road.

Ron,
With the extra width they could catch on the wing liner but I'd just try a test swap rear to front to find out for certain about the fit. Steering is likely to be heavier with extra width but you won't know until you actually try it.
I've had different size front and rear on my last four Jaguars and it is a real nuisance. Previous ones have had space savers but current XK has the dreaded Tyre Seal Kit. It'll be recovery if I ever get a flat because I won't be using sealant.
