Question Where is the flasher located on my MK2 Jag?

1) Where is the flasher located on my MK2 Jag, it sounds as if it is behind the dash. If so how do i get at it.
2) The fast speed for my wipers does not work, slow sped and park is fine. Any ideas to fix please.

Welcome to the forum Gary,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Here's the flasher location:

I'll leave it to current owners in the model forum to tackle the wiper question.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/m...40-daimler-61/ to the
MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

First check the switch on your panel. If that is functioning check the wiring at the motor. If ll is good you will need to remove the motor and rectify the brush issue. It seems they you do not have a shop manual--do yourself a big favor and obtain one--it will pay for itself many times over in time and $$$ or in your case pounds.

Could someone explain how multiple "Welcome" to the forum(S) help with the question?

George,

The object of the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum is for newbies to make a first post with some details about their vehicle(s) and their location. This allows us to point them to the relevant Model and Region forums.

It is NOT a place for entering into lengthy discussions around resolving issues. The Model forums are the place for this.

A number of members will post a brief 'welcome' reply to a newbie Intro. I certainly appreciated this when I first registered on the forum and I know from posted replies and PM's that many other newbies feel the same.
