X-type 2008 le newby
Hi All,
I have just purchased my first jag, I have had many cars some exotic but Jaguar has always been my dream as my father owned two, years ago
I have bought a X-Type LE 2008 my09 in gunmetal grey
2.2l Diesel, I chose this model as I thought it would be better economically
as fuel prices keep rising and I wouldnt want that to restrict my driving.
I also have a 2006 MX5 for those fun days.
Never had a diesel before so am interested to have a look at the forum and see the pros and cons and the do,s and dont,s.
I live in gawler in South Australia and work 2 days on and 2 days off as a operations controller at Bombardier transport rail depot.
will post phots when the sun shines

Hey there Razor, welcome aboard, good to have you here with us here at JF
Good choice on the X type and the 2.2 diesel too, same engine as the Ford Mondeo putting out around 153bhp iirc.
Good mix of power and economy..........

Thanks for the warm welcome guys
you will have to bear with me for a while as I'm finding the forum a bit difficult to navigate, but I'll get there.
I'm mainly using my PC at work as I do 12 shifts so its a bit slow
Havent had a chance to take some pictures yet but tomorrow looks good for a run into the hills
dint really want to go to regional as I'd like to hear from all over, but thanks for the tips
I'll go and try to edit my signature now
car is going well so far except for the plastic lower cover that clips onto the rear bumper it keeps popping off I think the tabs are worn
oops I forgot to go to the right forum didnt I?
ok I'll pop off and try to navigate around
cheers
