Just need some help - where do post a problem to get help?

A complete newbie to any forum at all!

Battery went dead, charged up and went dead again. Replaced the battery on advice, new battery went dead again. Ooutput at terminals is 13.2v.

Do i need to look at alternator next or look at the leads from alternator and earthing?

That's on the low side. I'd post details on your X type section.

Alan,

A bit 'off topic' but when you post pics of the X-Type, don't forget to include the Minor.

I went to the garage, they did further checks and found the alternator was not working at 2000rpm. New one fitted, will keep you posted,
