Hi, I am new to the site. I had something happen yesterday, and in researching for a solution, I found this site. ![Icon Patriot](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_patriot.gif)
I had set the parking break, and later went to leave when I released the break, there was a clunk and the vehicle would not go but maybe 20-mph. When I pushed on the gas pedal, it acted like I didn't?
I thought maybe the parking break broke or there was a problem with the transmission. I called a Foreign Car place here in town and the man actually came to my house for no charge! He said it was the pedal, it broke from the system and it is about a $400.00 cost to replace, but was going to try and find me a used one for less.
Who does this now-a-days! I wanted to know if anyone else has had this experience???![Icon Fryingpan](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_fryingpan.gif)
It has been a really good car, origionally from Scottsdale, AZ, to Boise, ID, and now in Oregon. I guess they only made 1600 of these X-Type Station Wagons (3.0 AWD), so let me here your thoughts... Thank you!
PS: This is my very first forum, so be easy on me... lol
