Default XJ8 in Prescott AZ

After decades of watching Jaguars and owning a variety of mostly British cars, with a few others scattered in here and there, I finally made the plunge and bought a 2005 XJ8. Maybe not as sexy as I'd actually like, but it's in nice shape and something I hope to drive more often than the 1990 Miata with 40K miles presently sitting in the garage....

Sexy is a matter of attitude, I'm thinking, and how one carries one's self.

You'll find lots of knowledge and experience here for whatever issue your car might have.

Smile Owner

I am the original owner of 1988 XJ 6. It has been good to me. I live in Ontario, Canada, and of course we have some real cold weather here(like last 2013).
The jag has been parked for the last 6 years and was never winter driven, since it was bought in 1988.
I do oil change service and brakes myself. Though recently , I had to take it to my mechanic to fix a mineral oil leak, and can't seems to find where its coming from or what may be causing the leak.

10 years ago, I converted the air ride suspension, to regular shocks.
What is the purpose of the accumulator? And how I can fix the mineral oil leak at the right front of the car.

Thanks
Daro
