XJL battery
Hey I have a 2015 Jaguar XJL portfolio, I had a low battery light on my dash for a month now and car just died on me .. I replaced battery and all lights came back on but it still saying low battery.. do both batteries need changed for car to even start ? I was thinking about changing the auxiliary battery as well but don’t know if that’s the reason car won’t start ..car just don’t wanna turn over with the new battery in it hoping it’s noting serious .. any advice please??

Welcome to the forums De'Loreen Martin,
Did you not charge the battery before going for a replacement? If a modern Jaguar is used infrequently or for short journeys, it needs to be kept on a tender. A partially discharged battery gives all kinds of weird error messages.

Hello,
If this was my car, and the Battery light was on for a month, I would look into the charging system first. Unless that system is working properly, you'll only have another discharged battery. Modern cars are rather persnickety about having a Full battery.
