Hi
This seems like a lively forum the for the XJS, great to be on board.
I am originally from England but moved to the US in 2004.
I have a 1994 XJS 4.0 coupe with the rare (less than 300?) factory 5 speed gearbox. I've dumped a ton of money into it and loved the car.
I also have a 1960 Daimler SP250, 1968 Triumph Herald 13/60 convertible and a 1974 Reliant Scimitar.
Err what's the garage bit all about?
Cheers

Welcome--that makes three 5-spds that I'm aware of on here, yours, AllanG's, and mine (located in North America anyway).
The garage is for pics of all your great cars. Click on "Photos" in the blue menu bar in the banner across the top of the forum page--it gives you "Photo Albums" and "Garage" as options. Click garage, then "Add a new vehicle" on the left...

Welcome to the forum 5speedusa,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
The 5-speed always was a rare and desirable version. Follow this link XJS - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJS forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

from a fellow South Carolinian - welcome to the forum! You'll find plenty of info and support here simply follow the links Graham has provided.
Nice shot of your car - love the double diamond in the background.
Keep your eye out in the regional section as I'm looking to set up a gathering as well as post some upcoming club events.
enjoy
