Default Xjs pre he help needed

I am new to this site.
I have a 1978 xjs pre he with wiper problems.
Some wires are off the relay any help would be great appreciated
It is a 4 pin relay 30,85,86 and 87.
The wires are brown, black, white and a double white

Hi Nick. Sorry I do not have the schematics for your car but the relay I can tell you about.
Pin 30 is for the main feed (Brown) 85 is Earth (Black) Pin 86 is the signal (Stalk) and pin 87 is the Wipers. I would have said that the single white goes to the motor and the Two white would go to the stalk (for wiper speed).

I will look for my PreHE wiring scribbles tomorrow, and see what I can see.

A quickie repost in the XJ-S section may have someone that already knows pipe up.
