XKR 2004 change for XFS
I am a new member - Hope I get this right - I seem to have read pages of info:
I have a 2004 XKR - 55,000 miles coupe. Brilliant and trouble free. I am looking to change, and need more room. I have tried XFR but not sure I can really live with the fuel bills. Has anyone any experience of XFS - how much slower is this than the XFR? As a diesel, I am keen on the fuel saving, but wonder if there are any power upgrades by way of Chips etc that could get the performance closer to the XFR/XKR I am used to. The ability to get past Eddie Stobart and the caravan whenever I want is not something I want to give up!

Welcome to the forum,
Good to have you with us.
You're not a member of Eddies fan club? Shocking! :-)
Head on over and ask in the XF tech section, you'll get plenty of opinion on the car
but probably not so much on diesels.
You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Thanks for the reply!
You raise a valid point, with the roads in UK you have to follow the 44 tonner anyway - I see yr in France - and I drove back from the French Alps last week - what a pleasure, but glad we don't pay their Tolls and Our Fuel prices - or I would be looking to dust off the old bicycle!
