Very interesting. We love trucks here in Texas. But that XJR looked perfectly fine. What did the poor Jaguar do to deserve getting its heart ripped out?

It was a UK MOT failure, needed a lot of welding.

That's an interesting swap, I didn't know you Brit's were into trucks???

How are you going to operate the engine? The electronics are always the hard part.

I’m aiming to use the OE ECU’s. I’ve removed the whole wiring harness, all the modules, and ECUs.
Before engine removal, I disconnected all the modules i didn’t need and stripped out a bucket full of wiring.
kept checking the motor would run without restricted performance
Now I just need to get it running in the truck !

It runs ! Intercooler is temporary!

Exhaust header fabrication for clearance to the steering box

Ok, Looks Good but now what do you do with it??? I had a similar issue with the Headers I built for my Jacobra. Sticking a 460 Ford where the v12 used to be wasn't to terrible, but the DS header was quite a challenge.

Hi Jack, there’s plenty of space to get the secondary pipes around the back and down under the floor
it was just the cast iron manifold hitting the steering box was the issue
I’ll post some more pictures when I’ve got the rest of the system installed

Same thoughts right after few fixing my ford f100 is working fine few days 2 chipmunks died come in my way during driving. I was unable to apply break.

Do you think the exhaust will cook your steering column rag joint?

It’s just the camera angle, there’s at least an 1” clearance to the steering joint, I’m going to wrap the pipes too.
I might mod the inner fenders as that’s the closest part
