This is mine...
My dad bought it originally in 1994 brand new. The front bumper and front grill were all painted to match the entire faded paint job. That truck was the greatest looking stock anything from american manufacturers that I had ever seen in my lifetime (non sports car that is.) Unfortunately by the time I got it that thing was totalled.[X(]
But the pics above show what it looked like while I owned it and it was in as good of shape as I could get it in.
Living here in Texas now I've seen about 5 ford f150 flaresides and about 3 that had the same ground effect kit as my truck. Although mine had a roll pan on the rear instead of an ordinary bumper. Man I miss the truck!

Aquill, here is a pic I found on the internet of roughly what it looked like. You need to take off the cloth roof and the windshield that my dad had was a 2 piece setup that was a bit shorter than what that window is. But, that is the color. My dad did have a 4" wide silver stripe that ran across the top of the body with a black spider web in it. You also need to pull off the dual carb setup in this pic and replace it with a Holley tri-power setup.
That a little better thermo?

These are the 2 cars that I miss the most; #1 was a 1964 Pontiac GTO-red,389 tri-power,4-speed,8 track/reverb which I purchased with my life's savings for $1000.00....BIG money for a 16 year old in those days.. I ran it hard then traded it for #2. When I asked my Dad (who was the model for all gearheads) to sign the registration of my newly acquired ride, he strongly expressed his concern for my judgement. I had traded BACK a year. #2 was a 1963 E-Type ots, red, IT WAS AN EVEN TRADE except that I had thrown in my 8 track tape player! I 'dogged' the Jag until the clutch started to failed....the E-Type went for another Jag....then another Jag....then another Jag.....I'm sure that you've gotten the picture!!!!
THAT'S THE WAY IT WAS IN THE LATE '60's.... HMM??? I wonder what's for sale on the Forum today?!?! Cheers, Andy

Of the various cars that have come and gone during my 44 years of driving, my first and second cars would be the two that I wish I still had. The first was a new 1969 Banana yellow Mercury Cougar Eliminator, and the second was a brown 1973 German Ford Capri. The attached photos are not actually of my cars but mine looked exactly like them. The one other car I had that I loved was also a German Ford Merkur Scorpio (Nicest interior of any car I have ever seen, gorgeous car, lots of issues)

There were many including '68 BMW 1602, '71 Ford Mustang, '73 Chevy Camaro, '88 MB 560 SEL (W126) and others that I don't have pictures of.
Luckily, the two that influenced my life the most are here:
1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible - 400 cid 0.060 over, mild cam, mid-rise GM manifold with a reworked Q-Jet - 400hp
2002 BMW R1150 - cleaner than a cat's a$$

This one was very hard to part with.
You guys outside of Australia are probably wondering what it is?
It's a special edition of the locally produced Ford Falcon.
At the time (2002) Ford Australia had a joint venture with the UK engineering company Tickford, hand finishing these cars before being sold through select dealers. This went on to become Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) which made all the specials for Ford Australia up until end of last year.
The winged badge is Tickford's logo.
These models were known as the T-Series, based on the AU model Falcon. Three versions TE50, TS50, TL50. Were also produced in three series T1 (1999-2000), T2 (2000-2001), T3 (2001-02).
This one is a T3 TE50. Apart from the big bodykit, there is a hand-assembled 347ci Windsor V8 (5.6L). Uses a 302ci block with a locally produced crank, rods, pistons. The intake manifold was also specially produced by Tickford. Despite being a Ford V8 you could not get this engine in America.
How much power? 250KW / 334HP with 500Nm / 369 lbf.ft torque out of the factory.
With a little tuning of the AFR's, bigger exhaust & tidy up of the intake, these engines put out >400HP.
I sold it when I left Australia to move to Switzerland. These things are very collectable now...
