I saw a cool signature line on a different site. Don't recall the exact wording,
(should have copied it!), but it went something like this:
"Back in the day we had something called metal. Made lots of things out of it; pots and pans, cars, ....... everything!"

Yep, Retromotors,
I can remember the days when most parts of all cars were made of metal. I have nothing against plastic, used in the right places, but who was it that first thought plastic would be good to use in and on engines? I know I'm old fashioned, but some things are just wrong. Oh well, there's got to be a few Andy Rooneys of the automobile world, right? ha

F40 non cat and adj suspension with the cam and turbo update for 600+ hp and modern brakes. Since it is a dream it would have paddle shifters instead of a conventional manual and would feature a well trimmed (I said trim ha ha ha) interior. I would also like the AC system to be able to handle the Florida summer heat without issue(s) such as the car overheating. I'd also like it packed with electronic driver aids such as a head up display, K40, adaptive cruise control and parking and lane drift sensors. Basically I want an F40 for all of its raw abilities but I want it to cater to my laziness.

I'm partial to Ferrari, always have been, and always will be.
I'm discovering that I want to explore cars, play with them, collect them - which is what lead me to my first Jaguar. I needed a "family car" with four doors but didn't want a run of the mill BMW or MB or Audi, all of which I was looking at.
I've always wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee, doesn't have to be fancy, can be used. My neighbor has one, older, looks great.
I've also wanted a convertible, and I keep watching auto trader for some used Mustangs.
Maybe a beat up old pick up truck too, just for fun.

+1 on the Overfinch. As long as it comes with the self-replenishing drinks cabinet plus a pair of Holland & Holland shotguns![Icon Teeth](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_teeth.gif)
