If you're going to go Commie Chic, you need to go whole hog. Then go prowling for Yuppiemobiles. I guarantee if they see that thing coming at them at full-throttle they'll wet their pants.

Late to the game, has anyone mentioned the Pontiac Aztek (a.k.a. AssAttack)? Thankfully not many of them left on the road, but whenever I spot one, I throw up in my mouth a little.

Found a photo of the "camper" add-on, and...I'm speechless

Oh ... HELL YEAH ...!!!

I can picture myself now,
absolute king of the Wal-Mart parking lot!

Gotta mount one of these for crowd control, though.

WildCat, you hit that one dead on!
Those were absolutely the worst looking freakin' things. Looks like they were "styled" by a committee.
You know ... "You take this part, I'll take that part, no need to compare our efforts beforehand .... it'll be a surprise!"

Methinks the committee members might have also indulged in a few peyote buttons and some Peruvian Marching Powder just before the meeting.

You're a better person than me if you only throw up in your mouth a little.
I usually have to open the door and go for the full hurl.

Damn, I had to Google that one, got the page saying 'Showing 50 results' then the Browser crashed!

Rebooted, that is one ugly mode of transport.

I actually have someone down the road who has a Pontiac Aztec. I must say, from what I've seen in the ads, the Nissan Juke may be rivaling it in it's ugliness.

For a middle-aged guy, a VW Cabrio. Everyone will know its his daughter's car and he had to borrow it because his Jag is in the shop.

The VW Cabriolet is bad for any man. I can say that having ridden in one. It's my vote for the most embarrassing car to be seen driving.

However, the most embarrassing thing to happen to you while driving a nice car (it's worse for a nice car) is something bad happening. If I were pulled over on the side of the road with my Jag that would be considerably worse than driving around in the VW.

I would rather walk than drive a Chrysler PT Cruiser or Chevrolet HHR. These are usually the only choices left at a car rental place because no one else wants to drive them either.

I'm currently driving a Kia Soul because the other choice was an HHR.

Should the Soul be included in this thread?

I think the Soul comes close to embarrassing, but I'm not entirely certain since there seem to be so many other bad cars on the market.

Love the old school hip-hop commercial. Entertaining enough to distract you from really looking at the car. Hmmmmmm... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfJnqbudMzs

Is that supposed to make me feel better?

I'm worried that someone will ask - What are you driving, a Soul? and i won't know if they are referring to me or the car.

I actually drove an HHR when my S-Type had to go in overnight for some warranty work. It wasn't that bad. I actually preferred to a Honda Civic. The Civic was really noisy, almost to the point of discomfort. Unfortunately the Jag dealers in the area don't have Jag or LR loaners anymore.

Here's a good "most embarrassing car". Mine because the front door cable is broken, and I cannot get out of my $65,000 dollar car without rolling down the window and using the outside door handle. I'll be fixing it tomorrow or the next day, but I felt like a fool buying gas today.

It was just telling you one of the following.
A. That you're spending too little time behind the wheel
B. That you need to give her a little more love.
C. That you're driving a $65k car and you should really be getting gas in the full service lane (at least until you get the cable fixed).
D. All of the above.

Play a Black Sheep CD loudly while you're driving it and the kids will think you're cool.

My old boss had a Rolls Royce and the electric window failed, he was most unhappy about having to open the door to pay the toll at the Forth Bridge.
