Default My daily driver...

This is my daily driver/part time offroader, 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I have recently stopped modding the FJ so that I can start the rebuild on my 1974 XJ12L.

Nice looking Toy, I understand having to make the choice between mods for one and restoration of the other though....

Cool action pic of the Rover!

I figure that I will keep working on the FJ as I have time, but I am very excited to get started on the Jag.

I've been neglecting the Rover she's just been sitting parked and unloved since I got the Jag... I need to replace her front swivel ball seal but it's been to darn cold for me to deal with it. Plus I've been to busy sorting small issues on the Jag instead

I noticed we both have the same problem.. .. A empty winch tray

Yeah, I keep checking prices on winches, but I am going to hold off for now. I usually off-road with a group, and a recovery strap is a very effective, low-cost alternative to a winch.

I will probably make a cover for it, just so it doesn't look so "bare".

Same here actually, I know it's a good idea to have one but it's hard to swallow the price tag on them.

Hmm, I feel the LR/RR itch coming on again. Dangerous.

Previously I always had a Warn, but the downside was that I seemed to spend most of my time pulling other folk out rather than actually going anywhere.

OK if I was organising but not so great when competing.

Some nice shots there guys, brings back some very happy and hairy memories.

Its nice to see people actually take these things off road. It seems here most 4x4s never see more than a gravel driveway. Lol
