Default New De Tomaso P72

Introduced a couple of weeks ago at Goodwood in Great Britain. this new offering from the company that bought the rights to the De Tomaso holdings brought this new supercar for unveiling. Although many will argue that it looks like a Ferrari P4, it is actually an evolution of the P70, a supercar designed by Peter Brock for a collaboration of Carroll Shelby and Alejandro De Tomaso that resulted in just one car being produced before Shelby pulled out of the partnership. Whatever the inspiration, it certainly looks like no other modern hypercar, and is simply gorgeous. It's an auspicious start to what will hopefully also yield a Pantera replacement in the very near future as well. WOW!

Sometimes the good ole days had great styling too, even if it's today.

That car is awesome and I'd love if more stuff were that type of classic style!

It's just so unlike anything you'd expect out of the current supercar design genre that you just have to love it for its uniqueness. It's over the top styling has all of the old design cues, huge overlaps, both front and rear, real curves and shapes not just fake door stampings, interest capturing shapes at every" turn. As I said in my original post, "WOW!"

I was wondering how the doors open and this photo popped up on the Pantera site a few minutes ago.
