From what all I've read and seen all you really need to know is,
If warranty, then buy.
If no warranty, then no buy.
...unless...
You are very mechanically inclined and have experience with troubleshooting complex intermittent electrical issues on CANBUS networks, have an SDD or are willing to buy one, have access to factory tech data, have another vehicle to drive, and are able to absorb the occasional or not so occasional low to mid four figure outlay for parts...
...Then buy one without a warranty.
Also... this is a year old thread and I'm the first to reply; that oughtta tell you something.
