So it looks like I have:
Saturday June 14th
Sunday 22nd
As available dates....
Lets shoot for Hurricane Ridge as a high elevation destination, and if weather does not cooperate we can stay low and drive the shores of Crescent Lake.
On clear days, Hurricane ridge give you a spectacular view of the Olympic Heartlands, as well as a distant view of Canada. However if clouds cover the Olympics, there is little to see, and the Lake is always a pretty site along with a few twisty sections to liven the drive.
Lunch in Pt. Angeles...
Hurricane ridge and the lake are within National Park Borders, so fees may apply.
Lets get a date consensus!

I do a run to Hood River almost every year, on the back side of St Helens... A great scenic road. Once on the river there is an easy day of just looking at waterfalls and such. I would enjoy showing off the back roads to those that have never driven the area, but it too is a two to three day drive.
So I take it you're voting for the 22nd?

Mecum Auto Auction coming to Seattle! I might like to go see some of that. Oh, but I forgot we're moving that weekend (June 13-15).

Sorry. No. That was confusing. I'm not leaving the beach house. My lease is expiring in the apartment I had before we got that place and I need to get my stuff out. Didn't mean to alarm.
I would think I could do the 22nd.

So there we have it....
Sunday the 22nd GtG to Hurricane Ridge.
Or western side of Crescent Lake if weather is against us.
9:30 Departure from Kingston McDonalds parking lot. (Folks from the Seattle side need the Edmunds 8:50 boat at the latest.)
Note: Those coming across the Tacoma Narrows bridge can meet up in Gorst, and caravan to Kingston if you like. Say 8:30ish?
Entry fee to the National Park is $15/per vehicle.
Lunch will be decided en-route for Pt Angeles, either before the climb to the Ridge, or after we come down...
The route to the ridge is somewhat boring as 101 is moderate traffic at best, but I will offer up a few side routes that can add 30 minutes or so to the run should you prefer to escape setting behind cars for a while... your call....
Lets get a list going!

<thinks> I just might be able to make this one. I've got new Pilot Super Sports on order for a week already... seems like a great way to break them in if they make it. I'll bring the Z if they don't show up by then... the Jag's tires are down to the wear marks in back. I dunno how that happened at only 17k. /cough
