Default 1947 Jaguar Mark lV DHC RHD need help

I am working with a client on a 1947 Jaguar Mark lV DHC RHD project that we are getting ready for sale. But before we can put it on the market I need to know more about it. I don't see a section on the forum to discuss the MK lV. Am I just missing it and if so can someone please direct me.

Also I emailed Allan Crouch with details and pictures but have not heard back. Perhaps I do not have the correct contact information so could use some help there as well. Would appreciate any help figuring out this car. Biggest question is about the engine currently in the car. It has red SS stamps and I pretty certain it is not the original engine. This is what I have so far:
Engine number M-969 E

Found on the number pad above the drain plug right side of engine…Stamped in.
SS emblem right side 3.5 liter
Block number raised 35 635
Intake manifold part # 3072 3 A
From the factory tag in engine firewall
Chassis # 617135
Engine # S 3673
Body # C 1370
Car has been in current storage position for 25 + years
Body is straight, paint cracking upholstery is good, dash is dry

We don't have a section for the MK IV as there are so few survivors.

According to Jaguar Heritage Trust:

Chassis number range for the RHD Drophead Coupe 3.5 litre commenced 617001 in February 1948 to 617184 in September 1948
Engine number prefix M or S = RHD, SL = LHD
Body number prefix B or D = saloon, C = drophead coupe

The codes you list look logical although the year 1947 precedes production of the drophead. Provenance is extremely important and JHT will almost certainly have the original factory build sheet but will charge for a copy.

Thanks Graham. I believe this is an SS 100 engine in the MKIV
