Project XKDR502 Ecurrie Ecrosse
Hi all
Ill start this thread on the build of my D Type project, that in the end I hope to look identical to XKD502. This is my first adventure into Jaguar territory, being an aussie, and only being a Holden man in the past. Ive become hooked on these brilliant cars, super sexy styling and the sound, wow and that sound My father has always been a big fan of C and D types, and has now converted me, and little does he know, Im building this for him. So here we go on an interesting journey of studying a million old pics and to learning lots from people who know the cars.If anyone has any imput, dont hold back, Im all ears Ive started with a BCU, designed by Denis Bedford in Australia, who is well known for Cobras and GT40s. I bought the kit from Todd Ransom who has taken over the cobras and GT 40s and now the Dtypes. Ill load some pics shortly.
