Nicely done! You picked the right moment with the clouds and everything!
Since you're in Vegas - Nellis and Red Flag area are just around the corner, you ever thought of taking pictures of the car with a fast jet buzzing above? I saw this at a Car and Driver article - and been wanting to do that for a long time:

Thanks yes at Spring Mountain Motor Sports Ranch. As for HDR nope. Used a Fuji X100s which has a lot of dynamic range built in to one shot.

You may want to join the "SCCA Club Racing" program to test your metal along with your Jaguar F-Type against other drivers and cars in your respective car/race class. Competitive racing is a real test of a driver and car, rather than an open track day were one goes out to have a good time.
After a few SCCA Club Racing events and obtaining a National Competition License, then you will be able to tell what kind of muster that your F-type really has against others cars and yourself as a driver.
You may want to start out with some autocross, then progress to Club Racing which is real racing on real road racing tracks.
Wouldn't it be nice to race that F-Type at California Speedway, Portland International, Sonoma, Miller Race track, or at Inde Motorsports Ranch, all in your area.
