My paltry opinion gives pic no 4 as the best action shot.

Seriously, we need more pics and not dark pics and you should also try to angle pass side shots not only driver side

Well I work in the custom car industry. So it's being built for promotional use. The sponcers will be for car audio custom body work(eg: 1 off custom front end) and suspencion.

Going from top left=#1, Top right=#5, Bottom left=#6 and bottom right=#9, I quite like #'s 4, 6, 7 and 9.

Have you considered converting any to black & white (i.e. do they have to be color)? Going B&W can change the whole perspective.

I like 7 & 9, but not so dark, b&w would be cool too

Yep, I like te B&W better (just my opinion). I also like the soft edging on the left of it, which draws your eyes more towards the car than the wood pile :-)

Nice job :-)

Not trying to get sappy but that means a lot as I'm just getting into photography. Just got my first camera and have been doing a lot of landscape. You guys are the first people to see my work.

Try to minimize or eliminate as much background clutter as possible. It detracts from your car. A good clean pic(s) of the subject will let the viewer focus only on the subject and not anything else.

Good angles. I'd get a touch closer or make sure the background lines up to add to the car not take away focus from the car. Also shoot early or late. Looks like like you shot in mid day sun. Control the light and reflections easier. Cloudy days can be awesome.

Try getting a lighting that accentuates the car best, such as dusk-sunset, or midday (11:00-1). Also, when the car is looking at us from the side, turn the front wheels straight or inward so we can see them.

I have a few examples, also, try and have a background that doesn't distract too much. I really think the sky and light make a big difference. If I had your car, I would wait for a sunny day, with big nimbus clouds, and get close to the ground, and get a nose-on shot, leaper in ful force. use the shape of the hood to capture the sky, and it will enhance the S-Types convex bonnet. Always use the sky to your advantage... on a Merc this will fail, fortunately you've got a Jaaaag. Here are my examples: Sorry for so many though!

I have some wheel-turn, light shapes on bonnet, etc included. I'm making my car (shooting it on my phone) a hobby.

And, for the side, dead-on shot, use the length as the main proportion, wheels straight. Obviously, the wheels being straight always works though.
