04 XKR Black on Black Low miles (51k) w/ Upper and Lower Pulleys
For sale is my 2004 XKR. $21k OBO
This is the most recent picture from about 2 weeks ago...before we got hit with snow.
The details
Right now the car has a full aftermarket stereo system, which will be removed for the sale. I do have the factory speakers but you would have to source a factory radio from another member (or ebay etc) if stock is what you are after...or I can install a new head unit, speakers, amps and/or subs if you'd like, at the cost of my time. Otherwise its a blank canvas for your own custom stereo...already fully sound deadened with CLD and MLV.
Why am I getting rid of it? I have 4 cars and my wife has never been happy about it. In reality, its taking up her space in the garage and now that winter is here, its "either me or the car". "Happy wife, happy life", they say...and so true that is.

The details
- Black on Black
- 51,194k miles
- Upper and lower pulleys boosts the HP to nearly 450HP
- Upgraded Bosch Intercooler pump (20% more flow)
- 180 degree T-stats
- New upper Shock mounts
- Trans fluid changed about 4,000 miles ago
- 20% tinted privacy glass
- Fully Sound Deadened doors, rear deck and seat pan
- Stock resonators deleted but will be included with the sale
- Custom 2.5" Exhaust with H-Pipe and stock rear mufflers. Nice rumble but not obnoxious (video taken before pulleys)
- Rear passenger brakes just started squeaking, although pads are almost brand new (Akebono pads). Rotors can be turned/resurfaced for $15 to eliminate the squeaking.
- Driver door upper clip broken (very common). I have a few new clips but never got around to fixing it. Easy fix, less than an hour plus dry time for the adhesive. Will include with the car.
- Minor paint "checking" on the front fender. Hardly noticeable from a few feet away. Seems like it might buff out. (see pic)
- Could use a fresh coat of wax

"She's a beaut Clark" (tis the season for that movie reference). I checked with the warden and she said no. She will only let me trade straight up for an XK. I am sad.

I could be wrong but maybe the lack of OEM radio and effort required for a non techie to make the radio work could be holding people back. I know it would be as I hate fooling with my cars b/c when something goes wrong I get lost and don't have anyone good to turn to. For you a blank canvas car is awesome, for other including myself, it's an area of worry. Perhaps offer it also with a turn-key everything installed price on the electronics.

Food for thought. I can easily replace all of the speakers when removing the existing (high-end) ones and install a new CD player. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Bob,
The car is garaged in Volo (by the auto museum), about 45 minutes from Lake Forest. Pics below, as requested.
