If you are planning to upgrade your 04-06 XJ8 chrome mesh grill with a 2008 color match grill with honey comb ABS grill inserts, you'll need one of these. When I sourced an 08 paintable grill from black county, they included the left side ( driver side) grill surround however I previously purchased left and right grill surround from a domestic supplier and ended up with an extra left side ( driver side moulding ).

The online OEM supplies ( gaudin etc ) list the moulding ( part# C2C36785 )for $61 and change.. I'll take $30 plus shipping.

I included a photo of the actual moulding and also a photo of all the parts you'll need for the 08 grill upgrade.
