1963 Mk2 3.8L
This car was comprehensively restored in the mid-2000s, including a rebuilt drivetrain. It’s been upgraded from stock as follows: RetroAir A/C, HD Alternator (recent), aluminum radiator with electric fan, Wilwood front brakes, XJ6 Rack & Pinion steering, Nardi steering wheel (recent), SPAX shocks, stainless steel exhaust (recent), RetroSound AM/FM/USB stereo (recent), Dayton chrome wires. Included are an original shop manual, Jaguar service library on CD, numerous spares, and restored 1963 Texas license plates.
For the past 4 years it’s been driven regularly, including weddings and club tours. Nice enough to have taken 1st in Class twice at the Texas All British Car Day show. Austin Motor Scene write-up and video here
Asking $37,000 based on overall condition between a #2 and #3 on the Hagerty Insurance scale. Further details and pictures on request. Located in Austin, TX.

Beautiful Mk2, good luck with the sale! Does it have the original automatic transmission (I think Borg-Warner) or did you also do the GM upgrade when it got the drivetrain rebuild?

What a wonderfully updated Mk 2, and great accompanying video! If I had not sworn off old Jaguars, I would be sorely tempted (old cars + geezer = delusional). GLWTS.

For some reason this was incorrectly flagged as SOLD.
The car is still available and I'm willing to consider reasonable offers.

Dean,
One of the nuisance features of this website is that the ads are automatically marked "sold" after 30 days. All one can do is "reawaken" the ad with a new post, and the 30-day clock resets (as you have just done).
I'm surprised that your Mk 2 has not sold yet - it looks like a really good one, fairly priced.
Have you considered putting your car up on bringatrailer.com? It's a great on-line auction tool for cars like yours.
Good luck!

Thanks for that insight. I thought it was an operator error issue
I've taken a low key approach to advertising the car on Jaguar specific websites, and gotten an equally low key response. Its probably time to pursue listing it on BaT or ebay.
Thanks again.

The odometer shows ~54,000 miles. Its a 55 year old car in very solid condition, so with no other information I would assume it rolled over once. The engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2007, and the car has been driven very lightly since then.
