1987 Jag XJS - 67k original miles
Hello all!
This post is somewhat bittersweet for myself. I have in my possesion a 1987 Jag XJS which was purchased in 1989. I am the second owner and practicall all 67k miles were driven by me as the original owner only put on about 1000 when I purchased it.
This car is my baby and I've cared for it throughout the years, though I can't say she has been as kind to me! Have to love the Jag engineering ! In the past few years, the car began really suffering the electrical problems notorious for this model. I took her to numerous shops and didn't feel quite well with giving to just anyone, so she sat in my garage. The sitting eventually got to her and she's aged a bit, looking more worn than what I remember. Even cars can't escape the grip of ageing I suppose...Just recently I've also come to discover she is suffering from a leak in the fuel line right near the exhaust. I've been told that it's an easy fix, but quite honestly I don't have the heart or the time to put into it. Other than these faults, the car runs beautifully and of course starts up!
I really want her to go to someone that can give her the TLC she deserves and quite desperately needs.
PM me if interested!

Hi JT,
Considering the electrical work that needs to be done as well as the refinishing of the dash, I want to sell her for $3000.
The engine is immaculate and has very low miles on it. Also the rear brake systems has been replaced by an autoshop in So Cal that specialize in Jags.
If you're near the OC area then we can arrange a time for you to stop by and check it out if you want?
