1990 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign (XJ40)
The good:
-Condition is good-excellent
-Only 45,845 miles
-Paint is flawless
-Leather is beautiful, looks (and smells) brand new
-She drives like a dream... cuz it's a jag. Duh.
-Replaced the battery in July
-Full sized matching spare (I'm assuming its original)
-Clean tittle and Carfax
-No dents
-No dings
-No leaks
The bad:
-Wheels (including spare) need to be rechromed and tires have dry rot
-3 wheel center caps are missing
-Rear door locks only unlock manually
-Cracked veneer on center console
-Panel on passenger side of center console is separating slightly
-Small amount of rust on underside near front & rear bumpers (not corroded through)
-Aftermarket device installed by previous owner is connected via a wire that is threaded through the headliner and into the "D" pillar has caused the headliner to droop in the rear
-Same after market device is causing a "fuse" indicator light on the dash to come on though all electronics in the car work
The ugly:
My fiance purchased this car for me in February of this year. I loved it so much. Joined this forum that night and had plans to make her perfect...
then I discovered that there was a bad tittle. So she sat in my garage and I leased a 2012 Jetta. Months later, after a lot of legal fees and headaches, I have a clean tittle in my name, a lease contract for a Jetta and not enough $$$ to keep and insure both vehicles while saving for a house and funding a wedding. SO I must part with the Jag.
The deal:
NADA guides lists average to high retail at $7500-$9000. My fiance and I have $6000 invested in the car and would like to make our money back but I am open to all reasonable offers as I need the vehicle gone.
Please contact me via this forum or call (602)332-2343. I am happy to provide more pictures of there is anything specific you would like to see so just let me know. If you are in the Phoenix Arizona area please feel free to request a test drive, any Jag-head will fall in love. I'd love to see her go to a good home.
