I realize that I should probably be posting in the for sale section but also wanted to reach out to the XJS crowd directly. I just inherited my father in laws signal red '90 convertible. CA car its whole life, one owner, maintenance records from day 1. Garaged its whole life with 66K miles on it. Everything in immaculate condition with the exception of the following: no cold air from AC, side view mirrors not working (one motor not working, the other mirror loose from gears), a shimmy though steering wheel at low speeds (bushes maybe?). Body and paint are in great condition, interior is essentially like new (black interior, seats covered in sheepskins since day 1). We've decided not to keep the car as we have a new driver in the house (teenager) and need the space. If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to let the car go for $6K - $7K. I can post or send pics if anyone is interested.

I expect this to sell very quickly, surprised it's not sold yet.

 

Sounds like a bargain if the car is as described and rust free. I would definitely be interested if I didn't have my recently purchased 1990 V12 already!
