1994 XJ12, 2nd owner, CA car
Have to part with my 1994 XJ12 due to a sports-car purchase (see photo). Bought this XJ12 about 18 months ago from a dealership in California that took it in on trade from the original owner. All original, and the interior is in WAY above average condition. Exterior paint is really good, with the normal dings/etc. for a 14 year old car. Completely rust-free, and I've only put about 800 miles on it since I purchased it as a backup vehicle to our minivan. Car is located in Bettendorf, IA (Iowa/Illinois border). 124,000 miles, new front tires, rears have at least 70%. Everything works, although AC could use a charge. Prefer to sell to an enthusiast rather than trade it in.
SOLD (someone got a deal @ $3k even)
Scott
This is why I'm selling, no more room in the garage!

Thats a gorgeous XJ12 you have I must say. Ive always wanted one but Im in the middle of selling my 93 XJ40 in pursuit of 95-97 XJR. Good luck selling the car Im sure you wont have it for too much longer!!
BTW, that quite the radical change from a Jag to a Viper! Those cars are craaazy.

Thanks! I have thoroughly enjoyed owning her, and love the 'Blackberry' color. I bought this particular one because of the condition of the interior, which was MUCH better than average, especially the driver's seat. I had intended to slowly bring it back to show condition, fixing the little knicks/etc. but then the Viper fell in my lap (which has always been my dream car). Can't have it sitting outside in the Iowa winter!

Ok, a bump of this old post. Need to get serious about moving this car as I haven't even put 100 miles on it in the last 6 months! Had one deal done through this site for $4800, only to have him back out at the last minute....
For those interested, what does this car need immediately? Well, the snow knocked off the top of it for starters. It's 40 here today, so took the opportunity to fire her up and go through and check everything. Needs a fuse for the left turn/brake lights. Needs a gas cap (the old one just broke in this cold weather) and an oil change. Other than that, ready to drive!
$4300 obo takes it (that's over $1,000 under today's KBB value). Man, can't believe in 6 months the KBB value dropped almost 20%!

Thanks Pete....I love the car, but it is vehicle #5 so it must go. I even installed a lift in the garage to accommodate the other four cars for the winter, but this one is sitting in the cold! Well, at least it is protected by a layer of snow! LOL

Isn't that hilarious? I run into that stuff all the time, there was an eBay ad swiped and posted on Auto trader by a guy on the east coast. With a California cell phone number and a 40% discount in the asking price.

Time to move this again - took it off the market last summer while truck was in the shop. AC blows very cold, but I did just recharge it last summer. Sunroof is being finicky now, but otherwise everything else is in fine shape. Gas cap replaced (thanks to a member here). Cash talks - will listen to most any offer!
