1995 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas

Beautiful car that is in outstanding mechanical condition. Interior is a 9/10 with wood and leather everywhere (even seatbacks, console, door panels). Exterior has fading clearcoat on all horizontal surfaces, and some bumps and scratches, but still a very presentable and classy car. This car has zero rust, as has always lived in LA and FL. I purchased this car in 2008 with 55k miles, and here are a few of the things I have done during the last 8 years and 30k miles:

• Suspension...all new Bilstein XJR sport shocks, spring isolators, shock bushes, droplinks, tie rod ends, front upper wishbone bushes, rollbar bushes
• Brakes...Akebono ceramic pads
• Wheels...installed very rare, refurbished 16" Jaguar lattice wheels, Sumitomo tires (70% tread remaining)
• Engine...replaced upper timing chain tensioner, NOS magnesium cam cover and gasket, spark plugs, all belts, idler/tensioner pulley, removed/cleaned throttle body and IACV, new crank sensor and uprated "Andy" bracket
• Cooling system...replaced all hoses, thermostat, coolant, radiator/condensor support bushes
• Transmission/driveline...replaced trans. filter and fluid, replaced differential oil
• AC system...all new hoses, expansion valve, drier...is now icy cold!
• Electrical...new alternator, new battery (2014)
• Interior...rebuilt LCD clock, replaced all backlight bulbs for HVAC and clock, new headliner, Alpine stereo with iPod cable, JL Audio speakers in front

This was the first year and only year the VDP model was made in the short wheelbase body (which I think looks and handles better). The AJ16 4 liter DOHC inline 6 engine from this era is still considered to be the most reliable Jaguar ever made. The ZF transmissions are considered bulletproof. This car has a lot of miles left in her. Handles really well with the new Bilstein sport shocks and suspension bushes.

Always non-smoking car, and never in an accident. Clean title in my name.

Includes all manuals, 2 sets of keys/remotes, and most service records. The original alloy wheels are also included. The 16" Jaguar lattice wheels currently installed are very rare.
