1996 Jaguar XJ6. British Racing Green w/ coffee interior. 97,175 miles. Became third owner in 2006 when it had 64,000 miles. Best car I've ever owned. The good: Interior is great. New headliner and reupholstered outer bolster on driver's seat in 2007. Runs beautifully, always reliable. I'm a member of the local Jaguar club, and this car won two firsts and one second in local Jaguar and British car shows. Extra (brand new) front floor mats for use in shows included in the sale. Stock sound system with 6-CD changer. Top-of-the-line Yokohama tires new in 2008 (including the full-size spare). BIG improvement over the original-spec Pirellis.

The bad: The clearcoat started fading on the roof in the winter of 08/09, so I didn't show it in the '09 car show season. It's still a gorgeous car if you're not overly tall. The driver's seat memory doesn't work, not does the driver's seat heater. The sunroof doesn't work. Neither does the cupholder. The light for the radio display only works when it wants to. The lock for the left rear door doesn't react to the central locking system. I think that needs an actuator. The pinion seal for the differential will need replacing, or you can keep topping it up with fluid as I do.
