For sale is my 1-Owner 1997 Jaguar XJ6 purchased new from West-Herr Jaguar. This is the last year of the bulletproof 4.0L straight-six Jaguar engine. (1995-1997 XJ's are still the most reliable Jags money can buy today).

*Options (Interior): Leather, Dual Power Seats, Driver Memory Seat, Front & Rear Heated Seats (rear is a rare option), Power Tilt Wheel, CD Changer, Sunroof, Power Windows/Locks, Mirrors, Keyless Entry/Alarm, Traction Control, ABS, Dual Front Airbags, ABS, Cruise Control, Trip Computer, AC, Rear Windshield Sun Screen & Tinted Windows.
*Options (Exterior): Alloy Wheels, Front & Rear Fog Lamps, Dual Exhaust, Daytime Running Lamps & Headlamp Washers.
The only option this XJ6 doesn't have is the Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System.
*Recent Maintenance done this past week:
-NEW Belts (Alternator/Power Steering/AC)
-NEW Air Filter
-Fresh Oil Change
-Exhaust work
-Professionally Detailed
-Just Inspected
I've been driving older Jaguars for 10 years including my other '96 XJR and it's near impossible to drive anything else once you've had the experience. The 1995-1997 XJ sedans are bulletproof and had major upgrades in almost every way from Ford's investment/ownership at the time vs. 70's & 80's Jags, which were notorious for electrical issues. These older Jaguars have a timeless design on the road today and are much more simple to work on.
This is an above average ONE OWNER 73,500 mile example of the last year of production for the XJ6. It runs strong and drives beautifully. All power equipment is in perfect working order. Tires have at least 60%+ tread left. Original Pirelli tire/alloy spare has never left the trunk.

*NYS Inspection Good until January 2014

I'd rank this XJ6's overall condition an 8/10.
