The short story: 1998 XJR with 123k miles. Clean title, ready for a new home. AutoCouture Prevail lip kit (only one that I know of in the states), lowered, full VDP interior swap, and much much more. Yea somebody flagged it. Details:
1998 Jaguar XJR with a low 123,000 miles. Supercharged 4.0L V8, Mercedes 5spd automatic transmission with J-Gate shifter for manual mode. Full 2.5" cat-back exhaust with 2.5" Tru-X Magnaflow muffler and 4" burnt stainless tips. 3.5" aluminum intake with Mina Gallery filter and shroud kit.
Suspension has been completely redone in the front with brand new control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar end links, upper strut mounts and bushings (updated polyurethane bushings!). Custom set of adjustable shocks in the front (only set in the USA) and modified Arden springs all the way around to sit this Big Cat right.
Full Vanden Plas interior swap. Real wooden trim throughout, brand new OEM floor mats front and rear, front AND rear heated seats, rear accessory tray, drop down picnic tables, upper wooden console. Windows are privacy tinted at 5% and the windshield has a 5 inch strip that runs across the top. Boost gauge has been fitted to the modified drivers side defrost vent. I have a spare vent if you wish to remove the boost gauge. It will look like it was never even there.
Only X308 in the USA that has a full AutoCouture Prevail lip kit. I imported the kit directly from Japan for $3000. This is a very well put together, high quality machine and no corners have been cut anywhere. Front lower grille splitter, chrome side mirrors, chrome trunk trim, chrome lined tail lights all from VDP. Growler emblem has been shaved from the XJR sport grille. Very rare clear front turn signals...these are out of production and were very limited. Custom "duckbill" spoiler on the trunk...again, you won't find this on another XJR or XJ8 around here.
Headlights have been upgraded with 55w HIDs. LED lighting upgrades inside and out. Paint matched Hella Supertone horns set behind the grille on a custom fabricated bar-stock support. Wheels are 20x10 all the way around with 20mm spacers. This brings the offset to +10 on each corner. Tires are 225/35 and have a small stretch. Less than 1300 miles on the tires, so they have PLENTY of life left. Rear quarters have been shaved. Front fenders have been rolled with a fender roller. None of that baseball bat rolling and bacon fenders.
Maintenance has been kept up on RELIGIOUSLY. Only Mobil-1 fully synthetic oil has been used. No fluid leaks, no warning lights or messages, no smoking or oil burning. I have taken great care of this fine piece of machinery...keep reading on. Within the past two years, the following has been done: timing chain tensioners and guides have been replaced with the updated metal versions!! Valve cover gaskets, spark plugs (NGK) and fuel filter have been changed at the same time. ALL drive belts, idlers and tensioners have been replaced. Coolant and power steering have been flushed. Transmission and rear differential fluid have been changed. Rear drivers U-Joints replaced. ALL front suspension components have been replaced (read above for more details).
