My neighbor just down the street has this XK8 for sale. Belonged to his elderly Mother, 16k, silver with ivory interior, looks to be in perfect condition.

I have known about this car for the past few years and have never seen him drive it. He got it from his Mom when she died. It stays parked in his garage all the time.

She had a leaper put on it when she bought it.

Tensioners have not been changed, I would assume that other than an oil change or two, nothing has been done to the car.

I will not comment on his asking price. I advised him on the actual value. It is what it is...........he has been low balled on the car a while ago and says he won't drop much below his asking price. ??

I can provide contact info if you seriously are interested in the car. I am not selling it and really don't know the owner very well. I told him I would list it here because it is a nice low mileage example of one of our marque, that is all.

He has seen the 03 Xkr in here w/1/2 the miles 1 owner for under his price, no? Anyone can hi ball as well as low ball.

 

If you are asking "has he seen" the 03 XKR, no, he does not get on this forum.

I agree that his price is quite ridiculous, but I could not convince him of that fact.

Perhaps he really doesn't want to sell the car, it being his Mom's and all.
