2002 XKR-100 Body for sale
Beautiful 2002 XKR-100 convertable body for sale. No engine. Body is the XKR released in 2002 to commemorate Richard Lyons 100th birthday. There were only 250 brought to the USA. Top is very good , seats are very good Recaros, the wheels are 20" BBBs also very good condition. Overall a very beautiful Jaguar. Never hit or damaged. The supercharger is encluded, it was not damaged.
I would not have traded her for anything yesterday, but I can not afford to put a new engine in her ,so, any reasonable offer will be accepted. I will email photos if you like.
She is located in North East North Carolina.

[OTE=Jandreu;1071086]What happened? That's just to bad, have you thought about a LS1 transplant?[/QUOTE]?
I have gone through the entire trip. Jaguarspeilites claims about $1500 for a drop in changeover kit. When I had my mechanic call them to buy the kit, he was informed that it would be $2000 AÑD 40 to50 hours to install. NOT A DROP IN KIT .....In all I would have around $20,000 in a $9,000 car with a used engine in it.
Good money after bad is the caution.
Thanks for your response....

Introduced in 2001 to celebrate Jaguar founder, Sir William Lyon’s 100th anniversary, this specially designed XKR was a 500 vehicle Limited Edition worldwide, split between coupe and convertible, with the majority being released in the US (160 being released in the UK).
Mechanically the car is standard XKR but several modifications make this edition stand out from the regular XKR:
- standard grille has been replaced with a mesh one
- a '100' badge on the bonnet
- “Anthracite” paintwork
- leather Recaro front seats
- grey-stained maple veneer
- aluminium trim (including the pedals)
- DVD satellite navigation
- R-Performance steering wheel
- up-rated sound system
- 20” R-Performance nine-spoke “Montreal” BBS alloys
A great shame to see this commemorative edition vehicle with an engine failure. I hope you find a buyer who will drop in another Jaguar supercharged unit to return it to original condition.
Graham

Thanks for your reply......I did break down and bought s engine for her. A 2002 XKR work only 52 k on it.
I believe That I will still have to sell her. My thought was that I would have a better chance selling a running car.
If everything comes out perfect I will put her up for $12,000
Thanks again.
