i just put my deposit on the new jaguar xf... time to sell the s-type. i'm giving the car a bath today, and will post pictures by tomorrow.

black exterior with beige interior. ONLY 22k miles! touch screen navigation, sun roof, heated seats, 6 disc changer... fully loaded. the car is in great shape. no dents or dings. paint is in great shape. it has the upgraded 20" jaguar chrome wheels.

this is a great car, TONS of power, handles phenomenally, and is an absolute blast to drive. my first s-type was a 4.0. the upgrade from the 4.0 to the supercharged 4.2 is simply mind blowing all around. it's a luxury car on steroids that thinks it's a ferrari.

It'll be interesting to see how it performs next to that silver Viper in the garage. Drove one of those once (a 2002) and I coudln't believe the power it has! Congrats on the new car...envy from over here in spades.

that's actually the way i got it. jaguar offered me wholesale... which ended up being just shy of $23k... soooo... i dunno what to do.

Take it man...you're not going to get much more than that...not with how hard it is to sell a Jag right now. I've seen 05 and 06 STR's go for about the same man. TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN!

 

yes... market is tough right now with jags. i paid $29,500 for it last april with 14k miles... only 23k miles now... should be able to get more than $23k.

i've got it on auto trader so i'll wait it out a bit. my jag is scheduled to come in april 8th. we're not at crunch time yet.

 

I'd wait if you think its worth more but they don't sell too high if they aren't from a dealer...Do you have the stock rims? I've seen the 03 STR go for substantially less than what what the dealer will give you. But they haven't had 23k miles either but that doesn't seem to matter. I'd give it to the dealer if you haven't gotten rid of it yet once you get your xf...which xf are you getting, the supercharged one or no?

 

oh its supercharged! how could i go from an s-type r to a naturally aspirated xf!?

 

new pads and rotors (SLIGHT vibration when braking... just enough to get annoying after a year. good to go now!) fresh alignment and tire rotation today along with a good bath. this baby is smokin'!
