2004 Jaguar STR, 46K miles, GREAT condition!
I'm selling my 2004 STR with just over 47K miles. I purchased this vehicle less than 3 years ago with 38K miles on the odometer and don't drive it that much to justify keeping it anymore:
- Battery ~ 3 years old
- Last oil change was performed in May 2014
- Hankook Ventus tires have 90 % tread left on them
- Forgestar CF5 wheels like new
- Runs like new and is dyno-proven (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...-thread-79842/)
- Seats have no wear on them
- No cracks in any of the wood
- Has the Nav touch screen
- Heated seats
- Tinted (Virginia legal) windows all the way around
- Original books and leather holder
- Clean car fax no accidents
- Updated "R" badges
Currently asking $8,500.

I'm thinking about getting the stock Zeus wheels refinished and selling the Forgestars locally/regionally...

For what it is worth, I would suggest you not sell them until after you sell the car.
I know if I were a buyer, I would find them a plus as long as the original wheels were also available.

if he sold them off the car... he could get paid for them,,,, on the car he gets nothing......get it? putting the stockers back on could allow him to sell the car for less if needed and still make more money get it? if you were the buyer they would be a plus... but he is the seller and that would be a minus....get it..?

Well... if I was buying this car I'd throw in an extra $1k for the Forgestars. Soooo... depending on the buyer he may get more for them by selling them with the car as a complete package than just as stand alone wheels... get it? I think that's the point MiamiTVR was trying to make. Selling stand alone wheels can be challenging with shipping costs, finding the right buyer, etc. It can go either way.

oh i get it, however the wheels were not separated out as additional $ from the purchase price.... do you get that? as far as selling the wheels separate its done all of the time... there is a company that you can call and they will take them from one place to another they call themselves UPS....they are pretty good you should check it out........in fact i would offer to buy the wheels myself so now you dont have to worry... unless of course you were planning on buying the car? paying him $10,000 and then going "hey nice wheels on the car , here is another $1000..
