3rd gen Eaton Super Charger with +1.5-1.7lb pulley for sale
55K original miles. Bearings still good ( no noise)
Had +1.5-1.7 lb upper pulley installed approx 1K miles ago.
Off 2000 XJR, fits 1999-2003 XJR or XKR
$299 total including the already installed pulley +50 shipping SF bay area local pick up OK too

Nope,
Nothing that exciting. I found a beautiful garage queen/cream puff 2000 XJR with 55K miles, Black pearl over ivory. NEVER been through a car wash, only washed by hand (no swirl marks), the seats look like they have never been sat in, the under the hood looks like it just rolled out from the factory. It has only been driven in the rain 4 times.
All for only $8,300 !! The owner was moving from a humongus house to a smaller condo and had to sell a few vehicles that week. What a deal!
So what did I do with this cherry beauty? Drove it straight home and took it apart for mods. The previous owner added an upper pulley less than 1000 miles ago.
This ad is for the super charger that came with the car. I had a spare 5th gen Eaton ported and the rotors coated with some slippery stuff that is immune to fuel, meth, "etc" so I can run water/meth injection before the blower. I'll be running the ported 5th gen with a lower pulley only and seeing what I can do with that set up.
Since I've seen that Matt Moran ran a 12.4 on an Eaton with less mods than I am planning, and no TS equipped x308 has shown a faster run than 12.28 yet, I thought I would try the cheap route for now and see what I can get out of it.
Nothing I am doing would preclude a TS in the future though.
So I'm offering this 3rd gen Eaton with upper pulley for basically just the price of the pulley. There is lots of life left in this blower, so it is a great deal for anyone needing one if theirs is making noise, etc. This is much cheaper than a rebuild.
