The owner's of this Jag are close family friends and are in their late 70's. They have no clue how to sell a car online. So, I told them I would help them. They just bought a brand new Jag (uggg...the depreciation) and the dealer wasn't going to give them anything for this car as a trade.
When I’m looking for a used car, this Jaguar is exactly what I’m looking for: an original mature owner, low miles, dealer maintenance history, no accidents, etc. The original owners are in their 70’s and purchased the car new from Hornburg Jaguar in Santa Monica (Los Angeles area), California. They paid over $65,000 in 2004 and simply used the car for around town errands. Whenever the car needed something, they took it back to the dealer.
The car comes well equipped from the factory. The car also comes with rear parking sensors. Finally, the owner purchased XM Radio from the dealer when the car was first delivered. The dealer did a very neat installation in the compartment, which originally housed the ashtray.
Recently, they installed new Pirelli tires as well as new brakes all the way around. The car drives great and everything appears to work properly. The interior is in great shape and shows very little wear. The outside is in good condition too. There are just few minor blemishes. The right rear door had a scratch that was touched up by the owner. Apparently a bike or something fell on it in the garage. The rear bumper has some nicks and marks from parking in LA. And, the left rear fender has a scratch. I’ve photographed these items.
All in all, this is a great care at a great price.
California registration is paid until June 2011.
Car includes original spare, owner’s manual/books, original sales brochure, repair records, and two keys.
