1987 Jaguar Series III XJ6
Im on the BMW forums and im helping a friend out buy helping him sell his car. Found this site and thought it would be good to find an enthusiast to give this car a good home. The owner has 2 XJ6 and no garage space and thats the only reason why hes selling. He has been a liscensed jag mechanic for over 30 years and knows these cars. Please PM me to get his number to talk to him. again i am just a friend helping a friend out.
Here is a write up:
The Crimson Exterior with Buscuit hides are the perfect combination for the Jaguar enthusiast. Featuring a "Flawless" dash panel and door wood., Newly redone headliner with a rare optional dealer Momo wood steering wheel. The Air Conditioner is like factoryusing original R12. This Second owner car was garage or stored up until 6 months ago. The original milage is at 33,340 and all work that has been done to the car has been logged. It should be known that there areabsolutly NO bubbles in the paint from rust anywhere and no areas have been resprayed. This car has to be seen to be believed.

I'm not fond of those that join the forum solely to sell something, but as clean as that car is I don't want to complain. My goodness...pure beauty. I hope that you'll let someone take this baby home at a good deal. As clean as that is, it's no surprise that it's from Florida!

13K is pretty fair for a beautiful 'timecapsule' car like that. My 86 sovereign (xj6) is almost exactly the same as that car - only differences are....I don't have a "leaper" on the hood (it has the flat jag emblem), my steering wheel is different, I have the "pepperplot" wheels, and last (and certainly least), I've got some rust underneath (body has been repaired and repainted the same color) and six digits stretched on the odometer. Other than that, same color, same engine.....it's like looking at my car 25 years ago. Nice pictures too....doesn't leave many surprises.
