FS in southern IN: '89 XJS V12, all original, 65k miles
I will post pics later this evening.
I have for sale an '89 XJS, V12, red with black convertible top. I've had this car for just over a month, I absolutely love it, but I now have to drive 2-4hrs at least once a month for work, and I just can't afford the gas. It is all original and in great shape, only has about 65,500 miles on it. I put about $2000 worth of work into it just after I bought it, including replacing the dreaded Marelli ignition system. Nearly all of the things that needed fixing were due to the fact that the previous owner hadn't taken it out of the garage for nearly 3 years, despite the recent neglect this car has been very well taken care of.
Only issues this car has are that the backlight for the speedometer doesn't work, and the passenger side window won't always go down. There is also a small gap where the driver's side front window meets the rear window, but the angle of it is such that I've had no problems with leaking, even I'm very heavy rain.
I need to sell this quick, so my price is what I've got in it, $7000.
Edited to add: if you have any questions, or would like a close-up pic of something specific, just let me know.
