I recently sold my 2002 X-Type and bought an S-Type. I have some parts for my X-Type that I either took off before I sold it or never installed. I have no use for them anymore, so I figured I would try to get rid of them on here before I try eBay.

Center Console: Grey in color, good condition. Came out of a 2004 X-Type but will fit a 2002-2003 with a slight modification.

Price: $75 obo plus shipping

Mesh Lower Grille Insert: New, never installed. Silver with a black rubber surround.

Price: $50 obo plus shipping

Cassette Player: Only fits a 2002 or 2003 X-Type with navigation. Bought on eBay, but didn’t fit my X-Type, as I didn’t have navigation.

Price: $25 obo plus shipping

Cassette Player/Radio: Factory cassette player from a 2002 X-Type. Fits 2002-2003 X-Type without navigation. This is the whole stereo assembly. Bought off of eBay a week ago but never installed.

Price: $50 obo plus shipping

Smoke Colored Side Marker Lenses: Used but in good condition. Had them installed on my X-Type for about a year. Just the lenses, no bulbs. They install in a couple seconds.

Panavise iPod, Phone, Satellite Radio Mount: This mount attaches through a factory bolt next to the stereo and provides a solid place to mount an iPod, Phone, or Satellite Radio.

Price: $25 obo plus shipping

I'm pretty new to the Jaguar community so don't laugh if this is a stupid question but which mesh is that? I'm going to update my upper grill to the '08 Euro spec and need a lower grill, too. Does this go with that?

 

i would not be able to say whether it goes with the 08' euro grill or not, but i am familar with what it looks like. the grille i have is just silver, but could be painted any color. i assume it would match the newer grill style though

 

Where did you get it? What brand is it? If I can get that information maybe I can at least find an online pic of it installed on somebody else's car.
BTW, how did you like moving onto the S-Type compared to the X?

 

i bought it on this forum but I do not know what brand it is. i bought it as a set with the upper mesh grille, which was installed on my x-type when i sold it.

i love my s-type much more than my x-type. more room, more powerful, better gas mileage. i loved my x-type as well, but the s-type was the right choice
