Several months ago, I purchased this modded white STR from a former forum member. I got it for a great price, and it is indeed, a fantastic and very fast car. It now has 101,300 miles.
Some of you that are familiar with this car may wonder why I'm selling. In all reality, there is just not much left to mod. Furthermore, nobody within an hour of me is willing to even work on it (I live in a small town in GA). So, if you may be interested in a great running and modded STR, read on...
As many have pointed out in the forums, a weak point on this car is the cooling system, which, after this week, will be addressed.
Recent maintainence: spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, radiator, thermostat, water pump, oil change, bg44k treatment, fuel filter, relatively new Hankook tires, new brakes front and rear, new 02 sensors, and supercharger cooling lines, front and rear brakes
I also have receipts for maintance and mods over the last 5+ years.
Mods include:
Engine/Exhaust/Performance:
1. Mina Gallery Supercharger 1.5lb Aluminum Pulley
2. Mina Gallery Performance Intake
3. Qwiketz (custom) Intake Elbow
4. Magnaflow Resonated X-Pipes
5. Magnoflow High Flow Catalytic Converters
6. Dynomax VT Mufflers (loudness adjusts with throttle)
Wheels/Suspension:
1. 19inch Forgestar CF5 Staggard Wheels (295 rear, 275 front)
2. H&R Lowering Springs
Interior/Exterior:
1. Pioneer App Radio w/bluetooth phone connection
2. 12 Inch audiobaun Subwoofer w/900Watt Amp
3. Blacked out side markers
Also, No Check Engine Light on
Now, the bad:
1. Dented the rear bumper (see pic, not bad at all)
2. Front lower grill cracked, the car sits so low though, that you can barely tell lol.
3. No inner wheel well plastic liner for the front tires or underbody plastic cover. Makes maintainence easy
4. Sometimes bushings in rear squeak over slow bumps.
5. Tiny paint chip under gas cover lid
6. Passenger front rim bent, still holds air and no vibrations
I have it posted for $12,000, but I'm willing to negotiate.
My number is 4044033901. Name is David, call or text whenever.

I appreciate your feedback, as I know that your proposed scenario may be the case for some sellers, but you couldn't be further from the truth in regards to this situation. So I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to explain for any potential buyers:
First off, I don't "drive the crap" out of my cars. I daily drive them 7 miles to and from work each day. That's about it.
Second of all, any notion of "unloading" it is innacurate. I will CERTAINLY keep it if I don't get a decent price. I love this car. The car is running 100% better now that when I purchased. If I were going to "unload" it, I would be honest and price it accordingly. I describe EVERY single issue on the car in the ebay post, and all of them are cosmetic or nonconsequential.
Third and largest motivator, I have to drive out almost an hour to the nearest shop that will even touch the car to do any work. So, there is a matter of inconvience, and I certainly don't have the time or energy to be fiddling with the car much, so when things go wrong, it is quite the lose - lose situation for me.
Injekter, I have enjoyed reading your honest posts in the forums, and if I end up keeping the car, I will continue to enjoy your posts

It did come from a lawyer in Florida, and now it lives in GA
. I drove down to buy it knowing that it needed o2 sensors. However, by my third day of ownership, I drove it to atlanat, and in the hotel parking lot the radiator was spewing coolant so hard I had to get it towed. Not to suggest he had screwed me on the sale, but it was an unfortunate $1600 repair. Since then I've racked up another $2400 in repairs, which sucks, but, things happen.
I've done my due diligence in preparing this car for some trouble free ownership. Any thing that has been found by my mechanic has been fixed, if nothing else, to help minimize my trips to travel to get it worked on. In the ad I list the repairs I've completed.
