Default SOLD Jaguar 'Custom' wheels in chrome - $950 shipped

Hollander No. 59741

These are the original wheels that were mounted to my Super V8 when I purchased the car. In chrome, they were just too much for my conservative tastes.

After driving them 3,000+ miles in just a few weeks, I guarantee the wheels are all true and straight, no structural damage at all. They rode very smooth all the way home, and yes, I had the speeds near 100 for a few stretches, and no vibration or other indication these wheels were out of balance.

Price
I am in no way trying to be greedy here, and only hoping to recoup some of my investment in my replacement wheels. I would like to get $950 for the full set, and that includes the $30-$35 it will cost for each wheel to ship them FedEX Ground to you. Basically, you're getting these for around $850, or $203 average each. Considering that a 'newly' chromed set will cost you between $2000 and $2200 - not including shipping, I believe this price is reasonable. They will be carefully packaged (in fact, they were wrapped up just after their photoshoot). They will make it to you doorstep safely, I assure you.

Sorry, I will not split the set up, unless two of you approach me and we negotiate the individual wheel pricing, because two are in better condition that the others.

Condition
Two of these wheels are in excellent condition, with only a few light scratches (barely noticeable, and difficult to capture with my dslr even). I would give their face a condition rating of 9.0 on a scale of 10 - a 10 being new of course. What lowers their rating are a couple of these type of marks

Both of these above wheels were on the front of the car.

The other two wheels were on the rear, and each has a different amount of 'curb rash' affecting them. The first wheel's damage is minor, maybe 3 inches in length along the edge. It also has small imperfections, and light , miniscule scratches similar to the above. With these flaws, this wheel rates at a 7.5

The last wheel is the runt of the litter, and has a curb scar a little more extensive. Not as deep (or dark) as the above wheel, but it extends further along more of the wheel's edge.

It also has a little more damage on the face (you can see it to the left of the 'rash' above, here is a little better pic in focus.

I evaluate this wheel, with the damage present, at a 5.5, maybe a 6.0.

Disclaimer
With the car being in Minnesota its entire life (7 years), the interior surface of the wheels have been exposed to road salt, so there is a great deal of pitting on the surface. I couldn't even see it with the unbelievably large amount of brake dust coating them before I scrubbed it off, but it is there for sure - and its not pretty in some areas. I did not include this surface condition into the wheel ratings mentioned above, since it isn't visible from the observer's normal viewing perspective.

I've cleaned each wheel, hand polished them to remove as many small imperfections that I could, although a machine may be more successful.

With the exception of the 'nick' in the above photo of the last wheel, the rest of the "star" surfaces and its beautiful curves are perfect and scratch free on all wheels. The centers are flawless near the lug holes.

Contact me via PM or email through the forum communications, else leave your email address in reply to this thread. I can give additional details, photos, etc., you need only ask.

As long as this thread remains open, the wheels will still be available to purchase. Please don't try any crazy low-ball numbers, and for at least the next two weeks, I will not even consider lowering my price. I'd prefer not to give these away.

Appreciate the encouragement Jim! Better to have too much info to make a decision, than not enough, I always say.

Dropping the price $150. Total cost will now be $950 shipped. Help me out, Christmas is around the corner, and I have three nieces!

These are 19's, correct? I'm hoping not as I need to stick with 18's due to a new set of shoes
