Looks a bit worse to what I did to the ring on one of my Montreals

Just a suggestion. You might want to consider either (1) buying and installing a replacement ring to bring it to "new" condition or (2) take the ring off entirely and buff up below (I have heard that's what most people do anyway).

You might sell it quicker by doing one of the above.

Thanks for the suggestions. When I had the tire shop remove the tire they bent the lip over so it wouldn't cut them. Its not worth the effort for me to do it seeing as I do not own the car anymore. The wheel itself is in good shape. The ring speaks for itself. It could be a cheap option for somebody who needs an extra one. I will sell it cheap to someone who is local. Shipping it gets pretty expensive.

I sort of know how you feel--but in reverse. I have my original Montreal sitting in the garage with a slightly bent chrome ring. But knowing how these are as rare as hen's teeth I am inclined to hold onto the wheel and eventually replace the ring rather than sell.
