Default Jaguar XJR Supercharged MY1995 - Lpg converted

Details

I viewed 4 lemons across the country before I saw this car. It had to have dark wood, it had to be flamenco red, it had to have cream leather and be on original 17 inch Jaguar Sport alloy wheels.

It had to be a straight 6 with the x300 engine, such a strong power unit without all the inherent flaws of the v8 versions, (do a spot of googling.)

Why I’m selling? I fancy a change to another car on my "must own" list. (A mid 80s BMW 635csi or a 350z if you are wondering.)

Put simply, the feel good factor with this car is amazing, smiles, nods thumbs up.

The supercharger whine is amazing and the way this car moves when it kicks down is amazing.

Spec

Firstly this The has also benefited from an expensive LPG conversion using the BRC multi-point gas injection system accompanied by an 80 litre tank concealed in the spare wheel compartment, all supported by the installation certificate and final invoice in the sum of over £2,500.

This enables the vehicle to operate as normal but running on LPG, purchased at the rate of approximately 70 pence per litre, thereby returning typical pro-rata fuel economy of between 30 and 45mpg.

The system is on the LPG register first of all this means you can take this leviathan of power into London without giving Boris a penny towards the congestion charge.
You also get cheaper tax.

The cream leather interior on this particular XJR model is in very good condition and the paintwork on the car still retains excellent shine

This vehicle comes with documentation to demonstrate the mileage of 117,000 miles, including service book with 13 stamps by Jaguar specialists and many receipts for maintenance and service work carried out on the car.

The XJR comes accompanied by two sets of keys, two alarm fobs and a valet key. It also has its original dealer book pack with vehicle care and drivers handbook and stickers on the car.

This vehicle qualifies for classic car insurance which can reduce typical premium quotations to under £200 for fully comprehensive cover, obviously dependent upon location and personal details.

The car is registered as HPI clear, having never been involved in an accident and with no outstanding finance owing.

History

I feel the best way to demonstrate this cars pedigree is to go through the service history - I also took a photo of it. this wasn't easy as the paperwork covered a double bed!

It addresses all the major weak links of the x300 have been replaced Also it shows that the car has covered only leisure miles over those years, (shock absorbers, bushes, and the exhaust manifolds that are prone to cracking.)
