This Front Bumper Cover is for an XJS 1992 to Mid 1993 to VIN 188104, part number is BEC 5584, and extends across the width of the car. The donor auto had a minor accident and the very right side of the cover was torn in two places. The tears were approximatedly two to three inches long. They were repaired on the inside with two rubber patches and Bondo Black Flexible Epoxy. The epoxy is a 3M product. On the outside, view side, epoxy was used and very minor scratches filled with Spot Puddy. All of the outside Cover was painted with SEM Flexible Black Primer and wet sanded and a top coat of Duplicolor Semi Gloss Black Bumper Cover paint. The results were very good although the repair is noticeable on very close scrutiny on the right side of the end portion. Picture show repairs; rest of cover very good no repair.

I bought a cover prior to repairing the bumper cover on sale here. Candidly, if I had known the repair was going to be this good I would not have bought the first cover.

The only other covers I found were on: OE Bumpers - Jaguar OEM Bumper Cover Inventory and they ran from $300.00 to $1300.

Relacement of bumper cover on vehicle is very simple. No need to raise the car. All nut and bolt removal with about 10 clips. Turn signal lights total of four screws.
